On January 14, 2020 Microsoft will officially be “pulling the plug” on Windows 7.
Windows 7 was a HUGE success, and millions of users still use Windows 7, so what does it all mean? It means you NEED to upgrade in order to keep getting updates, and most importantly keep your system running smoothly and securely.
The most cost effective way to do this is to simply upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 10. Microsoft was very publicly offering free upgrades for a while, but that has ended after the OS was a year old.
However, there is a workaround to get Windows 10 for FREE!
Steps to upgrading to Windows 10:
- From the PC you intend to upgrade download the Windows Media Creation tool.
- Once the download completes run the tool, accept the terms, then choose “Upgrade this PC now”.
